It won’t replace your Suburban, but for occasional third-row use the Santa Fe has a lot to like
Highlights: The Santa Fe, in this Ultimate Limited guise, drives like a lighter utility — it’s got decent horsepower, and good visibility all around gives the illusion that it’s smaller than a three-row SUV. Keep in mind this is an occasional three-rower — with the rearmost seats up, cargo space is extremely limited, so you’re not going to haul six folks and all their luggage on a road trip with it. However, for carpooling and kids’ parties it’s ideal, and the second-row seating slides to accommodate different sized passengers throughout.
Base Price: $42,045
Our Opinion: This three-row Santa Fe Limited is the final Excel-memory-erasing straw that places Hyundai in the mainstream of car brands.
